Congratulations to Alumnus Cristina Koloc on winning Best Teen Chef Cincinnati!
The Best Teen Chef competition took place on April 30th. Originally there were a total of ten competitors, but three of them dropped out of the competition. My day started out with a question and answer session with Chef Walsh at 8:30. Then at 9:00 the first competitor went in, while everyone else ate a continental breakfast. Every fifteen minutes a competitor went in, I was the fourth. Finally the awards were at 2:00. As they started calling names, I was extremely nervous, and was just looking at my parents for support and reassurance. It was the most nerve-racking experience. In the end, I was thrilled with the outcome and excited for the opportunity to study culinary arts at The International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Ohio- Cincinnati!
